S-C-R-A-B-B-L-E (14 points)

By: Maddie Brandel and Dana Schneider

Scrabble. You know the game. You've probably played it. It's the game that brings a competitive edge to the world of words and a groovy game for all guys and gals. Believe it or not, Scrabble can actually be more than a fun family game—it can be an entertaining way to educate. Playing Scrabble in a school setting can bring life to your classroom and further your students' spelling, grammar, and language skills. Consider playing Scrabble in a group setting in your classroom. Google the National Scrabble Association for more information.
