AMLE offers professional development opportunities to affiliate leaders including an Affiliate Leaders Strand that is offered at the AMLE Annual Conference. This is an opportunity for those affiliate leaders who attend the annual conference to network and receive updated information. All sessions and breakouts are focused on developing and strengthening your affiliate organization. This event provides an excellent opportunity for affiliate leaders and AMLE leaders to meet in an informal setting.

In addition, your AMLE2018 registration gets you access to more than 400 sessions, including General Sessions, Concurrents, Speed Learning, Spark & Tell, as well as access to 150 education exhibits.

Learn cost-effective techniques to attract and keep members, how to communicate and highlight value, tips to make members feel welcome, and more. The session will also offer an online toolkit for attendees that contains templates and resources for membership recruitment and retention efforts.

Affiliates: Learning Together

During this session affiliate leaders will talk through needs, questions, and ideas about making your affiliate stronger. Attendees will have an opportunity to share ideas and strategies from your group that will help others across AMLE.

The State of Association Marketing

Over the last 15 years, Janice Zielinski has been innovating and collaborating with national and state-level organizations, such as superintendent, principal, educator, and school board associations, educational service centers, and others, to build their capacity to engage stakeholders. This one-hour webinar for AMLE state affiliates offers insights to best practices and lessons learned with recruitment, membership communications, marketing strategy, and services and event marketing.
