Susan Edwards is an Assistant Professor at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She teaches middle grades education and math education courses and her primary research interest is active learning in the middle grades classroom. She is also the author of “Getting Them to Talk: A Guide to Leading Discussions in Middle Grades Classrooms” and “Active Learning in the Middle Grades Classroom” both published by AMLE. She has 25+ years of experience teaching at both the middle school level as well as the university level.
