Andre M Illig
is currently serving as Principal of Cherokee Middle School in Springfield, MO. Formerly, Andre Illig served for many years as middle school principal on the central coast of California. In California, he led Los Osos Middle School to designation as a School to Watch with the National Forum to Accelerate Middle School Reform. Andre Illig is passionate about early adolescent learning, social equity and leading a school on their trajectory towards excellence. @andreillig
As a seasoned educator, Principal Aurelia Ortiz
has taught at all levels from elementary to high school and has worked as a school administrator at both the elementary and secondary levels. She has served as an administrator on three teams that were identified as turnaround teams. Student success is Ms. Ortiz’s priority, and she has given multiple workshops throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia on Building Highly Effective Teams and Student Motivation.
