Call for Artwork

We Need Your Assistance!
We're asking 10– to 15-year-olds to join us. The front cover of Middle School Journal features original artwork submitted by young adolescents from around the world. If one of your students' artwork is selected to be featured on the cover of Middle School Journal, he or she will receive international recognition! In addition, the student will receive two copies of the printed edition (mailed to the teacher at the school).

Art Teachers: Submit your students' best artwork. Types of media accepted, but not limited to: oil, acrylic, or watercolor painting; charcoal or colored pencil drawing; 3D submissions such as sculpture; and computer generated graphics. AMLE will not accept pencil or pen drawings on notepad paper. Color copies of artwork are not accepted. Quality photos and CDs/DVDs of artwork are accepted for 3D and digital projects only. Artwork submitted in the portrait format will reproduce best, since the final size will be 7.875 x 8.315.

Please keep in mind that submissions will not be returned. When submitting computer generated graphics or digital photos of the students' artwork, please send these files with the student's name clearly marked within the electronic file name. These digital images should be saved at the highest resolution (megapixels).

Submission Checklist:

  • Completed form printed clearly and signed by student and parent or guardian.
  • Artwork (please send original artwork; photocopies and photographs of artwork cannot be used for reproduction. Digital and 3D submissions can be sent on a CD/DVD).
  • A brief description of your work with your submission form.
