April 22-23, 2010 • Las Vegas, Nevada
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort
Please accept my invitation to attend National Middle School Association's 2010 Middle Level Essentials Conference and Ninth Grade Academy Conference. This year's program has been designed to expand your understanding and application of critical practices that will enhance student learning in today's middle schools and high schools. All the topic areas connect well with the newly revised This We Believe: Keys to Educating Young Adolescents. Our Friday keynote speaker, Kathy Hunt Ullock, will feature aspects of the new This We Believe and those connections to student learning and success.
The event will allow attendees the choice between two distinct programs—Middle Level Essentials and Ninth Grade Academy. During the Middle Level Essentials Conference, national experts will address the following important topics:
The Ninth Grade Academy Conference will address both the importance of creating smaller learning communities within high schools and how to implement them. Successful practitioners and national experts will discuss strategies and provide insights for assisting students during this critical transition period.
This event will not be a time to sit and listen—it will be a time to explore and share. The program is designed to provide optimum interaction with leading experts focused on targeted topics.
I hope you will join us in Las Vegas!
