PDFPDF Version

(Westerville, Ohio) – National Middle School Association (NMSA) has been named a finalist in the Best Marketing/Sales Brochure/Kit category in the 2011 American Business Awards, also known as the Stevie Awards—the nation’s premier business awards program.

More than 2,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 40 categories.

Judges from around the country nominated marketing materials for NMSA’s 38th Annual Conference (Innovate.Create.Inspire.). The nonprofit association is joined by five other finalists from organizations such as Microsoft and Sun Life Financial.

“We are absolutely ecstatic about being chosen as a finalist for the 2011 American Business Awards,” said Betty Greene-Bryant, NMSA’s interim executive director. “The Stevie Awards represent the pinnacle of recognition for the business community. For our work to be singled out is humbling.”

This year’s Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 20, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the United States are expected to attend. The event will benefit Camfed (camfed.org), which fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa by educating girls and empowering women to become leaders of change. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network.

Details about The American Business Awards and the list of finalists in all categories are available at www.stevieawards.com/aba.
