AMLE Joins in Celebration of Blue Ribbon Schools

AMLE President-Elect Jeff La Roux of Monroe, Michigan, brings remarks at the 2011 Blue Ribbon Schools ceremony. AMLE congratulates Deirdra Gardner, principal of Piedmont Open Middle School, Charlotte, NC, for receiving one of seven Terrel H. Bell Awards. The Terrel H. Bell Awards, a part of Blue Ribbon Schools Program, were presented by the U.S. Department of Education, together with the Association for Middle Level Education, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
