AMLE Foundation
The Foundation was created in February 1995 to provide a means through which tax-deductible gifts can be made that will support programs benefiting those in middle level education.
The AMLE Foundation Fund sponsors the Collegiate Middle Level Association Chapter Award. This award is presented annually to the CMLA chapter that has demonstrated commitment to the preparation of future middle level teachers.

Note:
Contributions to the Foundation qualify as gifts, deductible on the donor's income tax returns. The Foundation is an "endowed fund" with the principal being retained and the income being expended for programs benefiting those in middle level education.
The Foundation fund is administered by a Foundation Fund Committee, separately established from the AMLE Board of Trustees to ensure that the contributions to the Foundation Fund are used for needs and purposes which are independent from those being pursued by the Association itself.
